Skippers Canyon

Skippers Canyon is a historic and scenic gorge. There are so many great spots in this area and on the way for fantastic photography opportunities. Vistas filled with stunning mountain views and rugged New Zealand terrain.

The 1862 gold rush lured thousands of miners to Skippers Canyon, but now it is an isolated area, and a photographers dream.

Glen will collect you from your hotel long before sunrise, or sunset, and return you once the ideal time for natural light photography has disappeared.

You will need to dress appropriately for all weather conditions on the tour, and remember to bring your camera, tripod and a fully charged battery.
